Past Memories

I decided to tell about the time my cousins and a friend plus myself where 4 wheeler riding (mudding) in our favorite mud hole. Anyway was had gone through this one particular place in the pasture a bazillion times and was going back through it. I was driving the powerful orange 4wheeler with 2 other girls on the back that where screaming their heads off and I had just slowed down when we became bogged down. So the other girls got of and started attempting to push from the back while I gave it a little gas. No luck it would not budge. Then I got off to help and we all started sinking, we where up to the top of the rubber boots when the boy’s came to rescue us. But before rescuing us Christopher, my cousin decided to rain mud down on us helpless girls by going really fast past us spraying mud all over us. Then they came to save us. Josh helped pull my cousin Cara out of the mud, in doing so she came unstuck but her boot did not, one boot on, one boot off, she climbed up on the 4wheeler. While Josh was helping Cara, Christopher helped me out, then we went to help Ashley, our friend from Missouri. We pulled her out of the mud but as she was walking toward to the 4 wheeler she tripped and fell face first in the mud covering herself from head to toe.
My Aunt had stated quiet plainly not to go in the house if we had any mud on us. Of course we were covered in mud it was in our hair, our shoes, it covered our clothing and it stunk like cow mess and it was pretty cold. So we commenced haggling with our other cousin Eric who had not gone with us, to go in and get us all a change of clothes. Of course he wanted to know what he would get out of it but we told him that if he didn’t it would be pain of death, which convinced him. While he was getting the clothes I ran home and got us a change. When I can back Eric had just gotten out of the house with the others clothing. We could not go in the house to change so the boys changed in the well house which is 4ft by 4ft with a water pump in the middle and the girls changed in a little chicken coup behind the house, it was quite hilarious. My uncle had said if we wanted to keep riding his four-wheelers we had to wash them so we did. The we said good bye to Ashley. As they were pulling out of the drive way my Uncle said ya’ll want to go riding again, back to the mud, Christopher and myself were the first to the four- wheelers.

Ha ha! sounds fun...

You tell Caleb that getting dirty is da bomb! We kids played in the mud all the time when we were little....the only reason I quit playing in it was because I didn't like taking a bath afterwards. *giggle giggle* Oh but I hated the feeling of mud shoved up under my fingernails too. Just a pet peeve I guess.

You will do fine. Better to do your first speech now than put it off till an actual competition. Joy, I think you need to fix Groovy Girl's link. It takes you to www.microsoft.com.

Ah! "I once was blind, but now I see." I wasn't paying attention; found the changes. I like the quote.

The only reason I don't frolic in the mud anymore is I don't have time. Not time for the mud, but time to beat up all the people who made fun of me. Mud is awsome.

Noooooo! I never made fun of you!!! I love you! I worship you!!!

"be strong, those of you to be beat up, be strong!"

*in exxagerated stage whisper* don't worry, you have absolutely nothing to fear!

That was a stage whisper. You never saw that, Evan dear.
